Luke Miller • Brand + Motion Designer
A looping set of nine animations demonstrating motion principles. This project was a foundational part of my love for motion.
Exploring the juxtaposition between chaos and order in the natural world, this reversable flipbook contains two animations, depicting planets aligning and weather patterns--natural examples of order and chaos. This project was first animated digitally, then each frame was printed on a Risograph printer, then letterpressed, then cut and bound together as a flipbook.
Inspired by the incredible poster work of Piet Zwart, this project combined riso print and letterpress to explore the wonder that is found in small particles. Eighteen objects were split into three realms and showcased in this poster series, uncovering the hidden beauty of the natural world.
Founded in 1894, Miller’s Honey (no relation) has been a classic Utah brand almost since the pioneers crossed the plains. With this packaging project I did my best to capture the essence of its heritage with a jar and label system.
These business cards were crafted during my Summer 2023 internship at Norrmalms Kartongfabrik, a bespoke box company in Stockholm, Sweden. After designing the cards, I selected paper, cut it, foil stamped it, and created a box to store them in.
